About Me

Hi, I’m Arthur and I am a photographer out of the Northern Virginia area. I have been involved with photography in some form since I was a teenager. In high school I did both photography and video production, then got side tracked into the Corporate IT world after college.

During my time in IT, I ended up traveling quite a bit for work and taking pictures while visiting parts of the country became something to do and pass the time. Mostly I ended up doing a lot of landscape and city shots over the years, like the picture above of the San Diego skyline.

A few years ago I switched jobs and the constant need to travel slowed down a bit. This gave me time to get back into photography and branch out into other areas.

One of those areas was finding a few local photographers doing workshops with some traveling models. I never shot a model before and I never really used flashes before, so figured I would give it a try. What started out as a bit of an experiment, something to do once in awhile, turned into a bit of a hobby. So instead of spending a ton of money trying to figure out to play golf, I started spending all that money of gear for photography ;-(

Over the last few years, I have ended up working with numerous models from around the country. That has lead to some destination shoots around the US - Orlando, Las Vegas, LA, San Diego, Tennessee and so far one trip to Jamacia ;-)

I put this site up to document some of these shoots and find additional people, both models and photographers, to work with.
