Chronicling some of my photography adventures
This was from an event a few weeks ago and my first time getting to work with Carly. I had this sweater with me and thought it would look great on her…. turns out it looked very good ;-)
Cas turned into my muse ;-) for this years Valentines Day themed pictures. She has some family she stays with when she is in town and I’m lucky enough to live close by. So when she said she was going to be in town for a few day and had time for a shoot, who was I to say no?
I ended up getting about a dozen different outfits to try, this one was a black outfit with some red hearts on it.
I had to chance to shoot with Cori a few weeks ago at an event up in Chester, PA. I had just gotten this bikini from Andi Bagus and figured we could to a few pictures for Valentines Day.
This is the first look we had, I have a few pictures in the same bikini in a different location - I will post those in a few days.
These are a few pictures from an event with Julianna Nicole at Studio 3MI in Bunker Hill, WV.
Who is ready for Britni, a bikini and bubbles? I know… you all said Me, Me, Me !!! Here are some pictures from a shoot last summer where we got out a bubble gun and had a little fun.
Here are a few pictures with Calista from an event last summer put on by Brent Allen. We were out on the lake and got some pictures on the dock, a boat and jet ski.
These are from an event with Stace Bernard at Scott Church Studios. There is there great old elevator and I had some new tube lights that were magnetic, so stuck them to the wall for a quick shoot with Abby.
This set is with Addy from the Model Project Events put on by Brent Allen Pigeon Forge, TN over the summer. This was my first time getting to attend this event and the first time meeting Addy.
Looking forward to this years event in June or July.
I didn’t have a bunch of time to do any Valentines Day themed shoots this year, just the day job and travel got in the way. But I was going back and looking at shoot I did with Eden three years ago now - although it seems like yesterday.
I realized there were a more than a few sets that I never edited, so worked on some of those and figured I could post them now.
These are some pictures from the end of summer last year with Kenzie from the Epic Pool Shoot put on by David Mosher. I know I mentioned a pool shoot, so why is this one indoors? While we ended up having a major downpour and had to run inside to find a place too shoot.
We actually did go out in the rain later to do some pictures, I might post those later - although they were a lot more risky, so I am not sure what is safe to post ;-)
I do okay at the start of last year on the blogs, but the fell off in the second part of the year - so one of “new years resolutions” that you make but may not fully keep - I am going to try to do better this year.
Here are a few pictures from the Epic Pool Shoot with Charlie. I think these were the very last shoot of the night, most the people were packing up to head home but we managed to get a quick couple of sets.
Hard to believe this set is almost two years ago. There was a workshop, at Union 206, with Tanya and this is from one of the sets we did that day.
We had an Airbnb for some of the people to stay at for this trip, the hotel got sold out, luckily we found this great place about 1.5 miles from the hotel. It turned out to be a great place to get some shoots in, this one is with Shannon in the doorway.
This set of pictures is with Sidney and Shannon on the beach at the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica. Everyone had gotten in the night before and we were getting started pretty late the first day, so this was pretty much shot at high noon on the beach - not the best time I know.
Here is a set where someone is trying to convince Miss Georgia to go out, but she doesn’t look like she is having any of it. But then she hears something that changes her mind ;-)
I took one of my first real vacations in what feels like a couple of decades in May. One of the photographers I follow on Instagram was doing an event in Jamaica, so I said sounds like a good time and signed up. We stayed at the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica and did some shoots there, down the road at an AirBnB and the Blue Hole.
This is the first set of pictures is from a trip we took up to the Blue Hole, there are a few different vendors for the Blue Hole, so do some research before you go. But it is a great place, we could have spent all day there taking pictures.
This is Jordi, Sidney, and Shannon in what became one of many pictures in some very cold water. It was hot as heck this day, so the cold water was great - but that first couple of steps into it… burrrr.
While I totally messed up the schedule for this post, so a day late but it is still worth it. This is a set I did with Nicole about a year ago, we were trying a few different food-themed shoots - one of them was doughnuts.
I was a big fan of Top Gun when it came out. I used to live in San Diego and my dad was at NAS Miramar for a while and the Top Gun hangers where close by, so always knew about them. When the movie came out, I was living in Vermont and the movie didn’t play anywhere within a 100 miles. Eventually it came to a local drive in, but I didn’t have a car and had to talk my mom into going with me ;-)
When I heard Top Gun 2 was coming out I got pretty excited and decided to do some shoots with the models in some Top Gun t-shirts. Of course, I didn’t plan on Covid happening and the movie being pushed back a couple of years.
With the movie out now, I can start posting some of the pictures here and on Instagram. This is a set with one of my favorites Miss Naomy.
These are a few pictures from a set with Shalyn at Skyloft Studios earlier this year. This was a small workshop being put on my the studio with several models, I will post some pictures from those shoots later.
